In June, I had the pleasure of facilitating an IB workshop on Implementing the Middle Years Programme (MYP) at Colegio Bell-lloc in Girona, Spain.
It was a privilege to work alongside a committed group of educators as they explored the principles, practices and approaches that underpin a successful MYP implementation. The workshop provided an opportunity to share ideas, reflect on practice and consider how the MYP can be meaningfully embedded within a school’s curriculum and culture.
I particularly enjoyed the collaborative nature of the experience and the thoughtful discussions around creating engaging, concept-driven learning experiences for students. It was a pleasure to contribute to the school’s ongoing MYP journey and to learn from the perspectives and experiences of the teachers involved.

This workshop offers an excellent opportunity for Middle Years Programme educators to deepen their understanding of the MYP framework, explore effective implementation strategies, and collaborate with colleagues from across the IB community. In June 2025, I had the pleasure of facilitating the official IB workshop Developing the MYP for educators from Munabe and Ayalde schools in Bilbao. It was a highly collaborative and reflective experience, with participants engaging deeply in discussions around curriculum development, assessment, and the core elements of the MYP. The commitment and professionalism of both teams made this a truly enriching few days of learning and shared growth.
